Recycling is important, fortunately more and more business’ across all types of industry are realising this and wanting to get involved. After all, we all want to be reducing the amount of waste just sitting in landfills.
By supporting recycling, you can really make a difference, but its understandable that people may not know where to get started.
So to help you out, here are a few of the more popular items that tend to be recyclable throughout different industries and how they can be separated/stored ready to be sent to a waste recycling facility.
Plastic – If your business uses plastics is important to begin recycling the product as otherwise it will just remain in landfills for a considerable amount of time.
Glass – Glass is also a common product which can easily be recycled. Simply keep this in a separate container.
Paper – this is a very common product in terms of what can be recycled due to the sheer amount of times that it is used. This should be all bundled together ready to be placed in paper containers.
Organic Waste – this will tend to include items such as tree clippings and leaves (which won’t apply to all business types!), but can be recycled and used as compost.
